Description

BD
These disposable glass tubes allow for the storage of blood drawn by vacuum and the separation of its components in order to study them in the lab easily and comfortably. They come impregnated with sodium citrate to prevent the sample from clotting and have a silicone layer designed to minimize non-specific cellular activation during handling. Their features and design make them ideal for tests such as peripheral mononuclear cell isolation, cellular tumor detection, human antigen typing (HLA), nucleic acid preparation, and cell simulation tests.

Usage Recommendations
- When drawing blood, ensure that the patient's arm is straightened and positioned downward and that the area is properly disinfected. Wrap the arm with a tourniquet for no more than one minute and gently invert the tube 8 to 10 times while collecting blood. Always respect the proportion of additive and blood to prevent clotting.
- Process the sample within 24 hours after centrifugation. Centrifuge it at a speed between 1500 and 1800 g for 20 minutes. Afterwards, gently invert the tube to resuspend the PBMCs in the plasma. Repeat the inversion process up to 3 times if the sample requires it.

Supplied in a box of 60 units.
