BD Nexiva integrated and closed system is ideal for performing IV therapies. It has an intravenous catheter and double entry. 

Made in BD Vialón (polyurethane) radiopaque, a biocompatible material that offers exceptional qualities of penetration, tip integrity and tolerance. It also softens in the vein, reducing the risk of mechanical phlebitis. 

All its components are preassembled, which allows BD Nexiva to be more efficient and reduce the possibility of contact with blood, thus reducing handling. Thanks to its ergonomic design, it adapts to different insertion techniques. 

Features: 
- The closed BD Q-Syte access is compatible with Luer and Luer-Lock connections and allows to keep the system closed to contamination while IV access is performed.
- Allows flow recovery in case of bending.
- Instaflash Technology: incorporates a hole in the tip of the needle that facilitates the immediate visualization of blood return along the body of the catheter, excellent for patients with compromised veins or low blood pressure. 
- It has a passive and integrated safety device that protects the needle after finishing the cannulation, thus preventing its reactivation. 
- The stylet goes through a silicone membrane located at the back, cleaning the stylet of blood and fluids and completely eliminating contact with blood.
- Double flexible epicranial fixation fin that allows better fixation and reliable control of the catheter even with small or difficult to access veins.
- Flexible extension tube with clamp that allows to move manipulations away from the puncture site, limiting the risk of mechanical complications of the catheter. 
- Catheter hub and double entry in yellow color.
