The rapid self-diagnosis test for detecting the COVID-19 virus through saliva sample is a single-use qualitative immunoassay intended to detect the new SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID-19. This test is designed for use with oral fluid samples collected by the patient himself who suspects he is infected with COVID-19.

Children under 14 years of age who take the test must be supervised by an adult.

Certifications:
- CE medical product Class IVD- Self test in accordance with Directive 98/79/EC on In vitro diagnostic medical devices.

Technical specifications:

- Test type: qualitative.
- Sample type: oral fluid.
- Sensitivity: 90.1%.
- Specificity: 99.3%.
- Accuracy: 97.0%.

Test execution protocol:
1. Remove the funnel and place it in the supplied plastic tube. Then, cough deeply 3 to 5 times and gently spit the oral fluid into the funnel. The oral fluid (without bubbles) should reach just to the scale line. If not enough is collected, repeat the previous steps.
2. Open the buffer by breaking the top of the package and add all the buffer content to the tube with oral fluid. Then, put the cap on the tube, gently tighten it, and mix the solution 10 to 15 times.
3. Take the test cassette out of the sealed aluminum bag and use it within an hour, after this period of time the results are less accurate than if the test is performed immediately after opening the bag.
4. Place the test cassette on a flat and level surface. Invert the tube and add 2 drops of the mixed solution in the sample hole indicated with the letter S. Then, start the timer and do not move the test cassette during the course.
5. Read the results after 15-20 minutes. If the result is positive, two color lines will appear, one in the control region (C) and another in the test region (T). If the result is negative, only one color line will appear in the control region (C). Additionally, the result may be invalid, in this case the control line (C) will not appear. This may be due to insufficient sample volume or incorrect procedure, therefore, you should review the process and repeat the test with a new test.
*The color intensity in the test region (T) will vary depending on the amount of SARS-CoV-2 antigen present in the sample, so any shade of color in this area should be considered positive.

- 1 test cassette
- 1 collection device (funnel, tube, and funnel cap)
