It has a total volume of 546 liters and is opened by a glass door that has a built-in lock with a key. It cools using a state-of-the-art refrigeration system based on the use of eco-friendly gases and has low consumption fans and compressors with reduced noise emission.

Its measurement systems have been calibrated based on the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, so it has an internal climate control mechanism with guaranteed precision. Additionally, it has an alarm system that is activated if the equipment detects any discrepancy that could compromise the quality of the stored material, such as probe failure or a temperature fluctuation outside the recommended range. In both cases, the refrigerator emits an optical alert that notifies users of the failure.
