The product must be thoroughly cleaned with hot water the first time and after each use, disinfected, rinsed possibly with distilled water, and dried with extreme care. It must also be sterilized before subsequent use. The product can be cleaned in ultrasonic tanks provided for this purpose and disinfected in instrument washing machines up to a temperature of 95°C (203°F). After cleaning, and before sterilization, it is recommended to treat the instruments with physiologically safe oil, especially with respect to the tips, connectors, terminals, and all moving parts. Pay close attention not to let the product come into contact with acids or other aggressive disinfectants that could corrode it. The recommended sterilization method is steam in an autoclave, the cycle temperature should not exceed 135°C (275°F) for a maximum of 15 minutes, to avoid damaging the product. For hot air sterilization, a temperature between 180°C and 200°C is recommended. The products can also be disinfected in instrument washing machines up to a temperature of 121°C. Instruments showing signs of corrosion should be immediately discarded. During the warranty period, all defective parts due to proven manufacturing causes will be repaired and/or replaced free of charge, excluding labor costs, travel, transportation costs, packaging, etc. Damages caused by improper use of the product are not covered by the warranty.
