The Introcan Safety® catheter allows intravenous infusions to be performed comfortably, safely, and almost atraumatically. Its design, which includes a triple-bevel steel needle and a heat-sensitive polyurethane cannula, allows it to be introduced into the body smoothly and fluidly, preventing injuries in the process. In addition, it has a shield that guards the needle after placing it in the patient, so it is not only safe for the patient, but also protects healthcare personnel from incidents such as pricks and cross-infections.
