The B. Braun Introcan Safety® peripheral intravenous catheter has an innovative design aimed at making infusions easy, comfortable, and safe, both for the patient and the health professional. Equipped with a sharp beveled needle, it is inserted into the tissues smoothly and almost atraumatically, ensuring a less painful injection experience. It has a reflux chamber to confirm its correct insertion into the patient's vein and has a thermosensitive polyurethane body that fully adapts to the user's physiology to prevent twists and kinks. All of this is accompanied by a steel shield that protects the needle after removal, thus preventing accidental punctures and cross-infections.
