The Introcan Safety® intravenous catheter has been carefully designed to perform peripheral infusions in an easy, atraumatic, and safe manner. Its sharp needle with a three-faceted bevel inserts into tissues with great smoothness and fluidity, and its thermosensitive polyurethane cannula fully adapts to the shape of the vein once it comes into contact with the patient's body, offering a puncture experience that is less painful and uncomfortable than other products with similar features. For safe disposal, it has an integrated protector that automatically deploys after insertion and disables the needle to prevent accidental punctures.
