Personal advice
Description
The 24V QEU860SOB emergency power unit allows automatic switching of the power supply to battery, ensuring that the lamp and its controls remain operational for a specific time to continue with interventions in case of unintentional power cut or failure of the main power supply system.
Technical specifications:
- Voltage: 12 V.
- Capacity 12 AH.
- Maximum charging current: 3A.
- Weight: 3.75 g.
- Dimensions: 151 x 98 x 94 (mm).
- Opacity range: -20ºC / 40º.
Autonomy: 2.5 hours.
- If the battery is fully discharged the theoretical number of life cycles is 250.
- If the battery discharges by 50% and then recharges, the theoretical number of life cycles is 550.
- If the battery discharges by 30% and then recharges, the theoretical number of life cycles is 1200.
Recommendations:
- Perform a battery charge/discharge cycle once a month:
· Charge the battery for at least 6 hours.
· Leave the device on until the battery runs out.
· If the battery's operating time mentioned in "Autonomy" is not reached, you should change it.
- For good battery performance, replace it at least every 3 years.
First ignition:
The battery is shipped already charged and with its relative fuse (F3) disconnected and separately.
You will need to connect the battery using the faston and placing the fuse.
Before connecting to the power system, make sure all fuses have been inserted.
Once turned on, check that the system works correctly in relation to the charging and discharging cycle.
Recharge cycle:
The battery's recharge cycle is indicated in colored LEDs:
- Red: battery charging.
- Yellow: battery charged between 80% and 95%.
- Green: battery fully charged.
The LED light stays on when the battery is charging.
If the power line is interrupted, the light goes out.
