The BD Vacutainer® single-use Blood Collection Tube Holder is a device made of polypropylene and injection molded.

It is designed for use with standard or safety needles (BD Eclipse™, BD Safety-Lok™ butterflies).

Instructions for use:

• Select the appropriate Vacutainer needle and twist its cap until breaking the seal

• Screw the colored cone of the needle into the tube holder, until the needle is securely attached to the tube holder

• Perform the venipuncture procedure

Hygiene and safety rules advise the disposal of the entire extraction device after venipuncture.
