The Pre-assembled BD Vacutainer® Luer-Lok Adapter is designed to connect to the needle-free InterLink™ system, with intravenous catheters already installed in the patient's vein and with hypodermic needles for venous blood extraction with Vacutainer® vacuum extraction tubes for a sample collection that is Safe, Sterile, and Quality. Also indicated for the extraction of urine samples through a catheter.

Permanent Luer adapter attached to the tube holder for a safe disconnection of the line after use and to prevent reuse. Tube holder clearly engraved with "Single Use Only" and "Do Not Reuse" as a reminder of safe practice. It is color-coded blue for easy differentiation from other products with tube holders.

The luer-lok adapter is made of polystyrene and the tube holder is made of polypropylene. On the thread side, it has a cannula with a valve for multiple sampling.

The individual protective packaging ensures the sterility of the product before use.

After use, the pre-assembled adapter should be discarded in a sharps container.
