Wide variety of May tables

Wide variety of May tables

The Mayo table is used to hold the surgical field, threads, gloves, gauze, compresses, and other utensils that will be used in a surgical procedure.

In our extensive experience as surgical material suppliers, we have noticed that the needs of surgical teams can vary, and as a result, we need to offer solutions that fit these needs. Below we briefly review the main variants of Mayo tables:

Firstly, you should be clear about the type and number of legs you are going to need. This will depend on the amount of material you will place on the table, the routes you will take with the assembled table, and how these routes will be. All this will lead you to deduce what level of stability you need at the base. You will see that we have tables with 4 or 5 legs, with different qualities and maneuverability options.

Secondly, there are Mayo tables with or without a base. It will depend on whether the base can offer you some utility for transporting things, or to protect utensils or liquids in case of a fall.

And finally, you should keep in mind that, beyond the traditional Mayo chairs, in recent years Mayo tables with hydraulic lift have been introduced in healthcare centers. These tables can be raised and lowered to our liking using a pedal, without ever losing the essential stability.

However, if you have any doubts about a Mayo table model or any related question, please contact our medical equipment specialists.
