Description
The bed pad with wings and handles is ideal for all healthcare settings, adaptable and suitable for 90 cm beds.
It contains its polyurethane membrane along with its light weight, which makes the bed protector washable and quick to dry. In addition, it has wings which facilitate the placement of the same pad on the bed, as the wings can be hidden under the mattress and thus fix it to avoid possible detachment of the pad during the night, and to mobilize the bedridden patient, using it as a "bolster".
It also has handles on the upper and lower side, to move the patient even better for postural changes during the day or night and to reposition the patient in the bed. Plus, the handles will never be in contact with the patient, as they are located on the reverse side to avoid chafing and discomfort.
The pad has been studied by the Rothwell Method, which is used to measure the amount of liquid a product can absorb after being submerged in water, regardless of the use of the product. It gives a total absorption result of 3.91 liters per square meter.
