Description
This sterile hydrocolloid dressing securely adheres to the skin surrounding the wound, preventing the risk of leakage and maceration of the wound, while minimizing contamination from external fluids or bacteria.
It is designed to maintain a moist environment and promote the healing of dry or slightly exudative wounds, mainly acute wounds, such as lacerations, minor abrasions, minor burns (superficial and partial thickness) or postoperative protection of closed surgical sites.
The expandable and absorbent particles of the hydrocolloid layer absorb the exudate and swell to form a gel that creates a moist environment and promotes the formation of granulation tissue and wound healing.
It perfectly adapts to the contours of the body and is soft and flexible.
