Sterile-Z® sterile cover for double instrument table, 224 x 356 cm

Sterile-Z® is a clear, disposable, and sterile polyethylene cover designed to cover instrument tables prior to surgery. Its use prevents surgical tools from being contaminated by splashes or volatile contaminants, helping to preserve their sterile state and optimizing workflow in the operating room. Therefore, it is ideal for operating rooms with a large influx of people, interventions with the possibility of delay, combined operations with different phases or surgeries with a high risk of cross-contamination.

The cover is extremely easy and intuitive to use thanks to the printed instructions it has on its surface. To unfold it, it should be placed on the table and each of its ends extended in the direction of the arrows. Once it needs to be removed, two people simply need to stretch in opposite directions holding the handles it comes with; this traction will end up revealing a final sterile layer that, when tensioned again, will end up being completely sectioned. In this way, the cover can be discarded without risk of surface contaminants coming into contact with the material, ensuring at all times that the instruments maintain their sterility.
