Sterile-Z® Mayo table cover, 76 x 66 cm

Sterile-Z® is a clear, disposable polyethylene cover used to cover Mayo tables in order to prevent sterilized instruments from becoming contaminated. It is very useful in situations where surgical tools must be prepared in advance, as it allows them to be available without risk of transmitting any infection to the patient, optimizing workflow. Therefore, it is perfect for operating rooms with a high influx of personnel or patients, surgeries with a high risk of cross infection, interventions with the possibility of delay, and combined-phase operations.

The Sterile-Z® cover has an intuitive design that is easy to place and leaves no room for errors that could compromise the sterility of the instruments. To unfold it, simply place it on the table and extend each of its ends following the indications of the arrows printed on it. To remove it, two people need to stretch in opposite directions from each of its edges; by generating this traction, two adhesive strips will be detached, revealing a last sterile side that, when stretched again, will eventually completely divide. This hidden fold will allow the cover to be removed without risk of splashes and contaminants coming into contact with the instruments during disposal, ensuring at all times that optimal conditions for surgery are maintained.
