The product must be thoroughly cleaned with hot water for the first time and after each use, disinfected, possibly rinsed with distilled water, and dried with extreme care. It must also be sterilized before subsequent use. The product can be cleaned in ultrasound tanks set up for the purpose and disinfected in instrument washing machines up to a temperature of 95°C (203°F). After cleaning, and before sterilization, it is recommended to treat the instruments with physiologically safe oil, especially with regard to the tips, connectors, terminals, and all moving parts. Be very careful that the product does not come into contact with acids or other aggressive disinfectants that could corrode it. The recommended sterilization method is steam in an autoclave, the cycle temperature should not exceed 135°C (275°F) for a maximum of 15 minutes, to avoid damaging the product. For hot air sterilization, a temperature between 180°C and 200°C is recommended. Products can also be disinfected in instrument washing machines up to a temperature of 121°C. Instruments showing signs of corrosion should be immediately removed. During the warranty period, all defective parts due to well-proven manufacturing causes will be repaired and/or replaced free of charge, excluding labor, travel, shipping, packaging, etc. expenses. Damages caused by misuse of the product are not covered by the warranty.
