Description

This simulator allows for practicing procedures for central vein cannulation and has been developed for both the emergency medical sector and ACLS and ATLS course measures. Due to the exact anatomy, palpation is performed identically to that of a real patient. The jugular cavity "sinks" during palpation and, in addition, the sternocleidomastoid, clavicle, and various support tissues can also be palpated. The internal blood vessels include the subclavian vein, internal and external jugular vein, and the carotid artery. It is possible to use a complete Swan catheter. The neck of the simulator is positioned to the left, making it easy to find visible reference points.
