Description
This model consists of the upper half of the humerus, the clavicle and the scapula or shoulder blade.
In addition to the representation of the rotator cuff musculature, the surfaces of the origin and insertion of the shoulder muscles have been highlighted in different colors (origin = red; insertion = blue). The following muscles are represented and can be detached:
- subscapularis,
- supraspinatus,
- infraspinatus,
- teres minor.
By removing each of the muscles, all movements of the shoulder joint can be performed:
- abduction,
- adduction,
- internal rotation,
- external rotation,
- lifting the arm forward,
- lifting the arm back,
- lifting the arm in a horizontal position and performing circular movements.
