Self-sealing Parafilm® film, 5 cm x 75 m roll
Polyolefin and wax film designed for sample fixation and sealing of laboratory containers. Suitable for sterilization with radiation and equipped with high resistance to acids, gases, alkaline solutions and the vast majority of reagents.
Description
Parafilm® is a semi-transparent self-sealing film made of polyolefin and wax that adheres very firmly to any surface, even those with irregular contours. Its use allows the creation of an excellent hermetic barrier, preventing the loss of moisture and volume of samples and helping to preserve their integrity. Its properties and performance allow it to be used in countless laboratory applications, including fixing samples on slides and Petri dishes, sealing test tubes and reinforcing the caps of flasks and vials.
