Novamed® Enzym 6 six-enzyme detergent for instrument cleaning

Novamed® Enzym 6 is a next-generation multi-enzymatic detergent with 6 stabilized enzymes, formulated at neutral pH for high-level enzymatic cleaning in healthcare environments. It is specifically developed to remove complex organic and inorganic residues (blood, mucus, lipids, etc.) from surgical instruments, flexible endoscopes, microsurgery and anesthesia instruments, laboratory glassware, dental instruments, containers and general healthcare products, prior to disinfection.

Its innovative formulation combines the synergistic action of surfactants, a green chelating agent, and a multi-enzymatic complex with 6 stabilized enzymes (protease, amylase, lipase, cellulase, pectinase, and mannanase), achieving deep removal of multi-component residues and aiding in the prevention of biofilm and infections. It is completely stable, requires no activation, can be used at room temperature, and offers excellent compatibility with standard and complex materials (stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, silicone, rubber, plastics, Teflon, glass, and ceramics).

Application and dosage:
- Standard manual cleaning (thermostable and thermolabile instruments): 4 ml/L (0.4%) for 2–5 min at room temperature.
- Ultrasonic bath cleaning: 1–2 ml/L (0.1–0.2%) for 1–3 min at a maximum temperature of 45 ºC.
- Manual cleaning for difficult dirt: 10 ml/L (1%) for 3–10 min at room temperature.
- The versatility of the product allows it to be used up to 2% if necessary. The final dose will depend on the water quality, the degree of dirt, and the indications of the manufacturer of the healthcare product or the automated machine.

- Main ingredients: green chelating agent, non-ionic surfactant, multi-enzymatic complex (protease, lipase, amylase, mannanase, pectinase, cellulase), excipients, and purified water.
