FFP 2: this mask presents a type 2 filter, that is, it has a 92% efficiency of air particles and a maximum 8% leakage inside. These masks are usually used in the metallurgical industry and mining, i.e., industries in contact with aerosols, fog, and smoke. These masks are recommended for daily use by medical personnel in contact with coronavirus patients. 
FFP 3: this mask presents a type 3 filter, that is, it has a 98% efficiency of air particles and a maximum 2% leakage inside. These masks, in addition to protecting against viruses, bacteria, and fungi, filter poisonous, carcinogenic, and radioactive particles. These masks are recommended for daily use by medical personnel in contact with coronavirus patients. 
KN95/N95: as the name suggests, these masks protect against 95% of particles. They are in between the FFP2 and FFP3. The N95 mask is according to U.S. approvals, and the KN95 is according to Chinese ones.
