Composed of 3 vertebral discs with medial section with intervertebral disc. For comparison purposes, the upper section shows the structure of healthy bones, the central section of osteoporotic bones, and the lower section of an advanced osteoporotic bone structure with flattened plates. The weight of the osteoporotic vertebra is noticeably reduced. The vertebrae are removable for detailed study.
