What is infrared light used for?

Short-wave ultraviolet light burns the epidermis and has no penetrating capacity.

Long-wave infrared light reaches very internal areas without hardly damaging tissues. Heat is distributed evenly with a high therapeutic effect.

Because of their therapeutic and analgesic effects, infrared lamps are recommended in medical practice.
