What is infrared light used for?
Short-wave ultraviolet light burns the epidermis and has no penetration capacity.
Long-wave infrared light reaches very internal areas without hardly damaging the tissues. The heat is distributed evenly with a high therapeutic effect.
Due to their therapeutic and analgesic effects, infrared lamps are recommended in medical practice. They are used for conditions that can improve with the application of discreetly penetrating and dry heat radiation: rheumatism, arthritis, dislocations, lumbago, neuralgia, neck rheumatism, migraine, etc.
It promotes better absorption by the skin of creams and lotions and is an excellent preparation for professional massage.
Infrared rays are also extensively used in aesthetic treatments, in physiotherapy and in the sports environment.
