Description
The Hartl Disc with laser is a device designed for teaching fundamental optical concepts, including reflection and refraction.
Using the technique of tracing light rays, this device provides an interactive and visual way to study the behavior of light when interacting with different optical elements.
All optical elements have magnetic bases that allow them to be securely placed in vertical or horizontal position on the disc.
Features:
- Rotating metallic disc, with a diameter of approximately 30 cm, allows to observe the trajectory of light rays in a dynamic way.
- Precise graduation that presents a scale of 90°-0-90°-0-90° with divisions of 1°, facilitating the exact measurement of angles during experiments.
- Includes shapes of different optical elements on the disc, which facilitates their correct positioning.
- Laser light source that allows the projection of 1, 3 or 5 parallel rays, adaptable for various experiments.
Included optical elements:
1. Acrylic prisms (refraction):
- Semicircular
- Biconvex
- Biconcave
- Right angle prism
- Equilateral triangle
- Trapezoidal prism
2. Mirrors (reflection):
- Flat
- Semicircular
