This original model of a female pelvis provides detailed information about the topography of the bones, ligaments, vessels, nerves, pelvic floor muscles and female pelvic organs.

The entirety of the pelvic floor is represented with a section of the external anal sphincter with partially removable mid-sagittal section, external urethral sphincter and the deep and superficial transverse perineal muscles, and bulbospongiosus.

The rectum, the uterus with the fallopian tubes, the ovaries and the vagina are also detachable and can be disassembled into two halves through their mid-sagittal section.
The right pelvic half shows the divisions and topographic anatomy of the common iliac artery, the external and internal arteries and also the common iliac vein and the external iliac vein.
It also shows the right sacral plexus, the right sciatic nerve and the pudendal nerve. Bones and ligaments shown: two iliac bones, the pubic symphysis, the sacrum and the coccyx, the fifth lumbar vertebra with the intervertebral disc.
A mid-sagittal section through the fifth lumbar vertebra, sacrum and coccyx, allows to disassemble the two halves of the pelvis, showing a part of the cauda equina in the vertebral canal.
The left half of the fifth lumbar vertebra is removable; The right half of the model shows the following pelvic ligaments: inguinal ligament, sacrotuberous ligament, sacrospinous ligament, anterior sacroiliac ligaments, iliolumbar ligament, anterior longitudinal ligament, interosseous sacroiliac ligament, posterior sacroiliac ligament and obturator membrane.
