Three-piece model representing an original mold of the bone structure of a female pelvis, showing all the details of the anatomical structures: two iliac bones, the pubic symphysis, the sacrum and the coccyx, the fifth lumbar vertebra with the intervertebral disc. A sagittal mid-section through the fifth lumbar vertebra, sacrum and coccyx, allows the two halves of the pelvis to be disassembled, showing part of the cauda equina in the vertebral canal. The left half of the fifth lumbar vertebra is removable.
