DermaScope HR Polarizer Dino Lite MEDL7DW

The DermaScope Dermatoscope from Dino-Lite is an easy-to-use digital microscope that can capture close-ups of high-quality skin images and videos. These images go far beyond the macro lens digital camera that is common for this application. That's why many professionals now use the Dino-Lite DermaScope.

The DermaScope can be placed on the skin, either with a watery or oily lubricant, to observe and capture an image of a nevus or lesion. The magnification achieved with the DermaScope will show the doctor what cannot be seen with the naked eye and will help to determine the correct diagnosis. The patient can see the result on the computer screen at the same time.

The Dino-Lite DermaScope is connected and powered through a computer's USB port, so there are no batteries to change or charge. The DermaScope also includes 8 LED lights, which means that an external light source is not necessary and the DermaScope is a very versatile instrument.

The Dino-Lite DermaScope Polarizer HR (MEDL7DW) device has a 5-megapixel camera to capture sharper images with more detail and includes a built-in and fully adjustable polarization filter to greatly reduce the skin's shine effect.

The MEDL7DW model has two different levels of magnification (approximately 20x to approximately 45x) without the need to change the distance from the skin. If the additional leg is used, it is possible to obtain an image with a larger surface area with a magnification of approximately 10x. The MEDL7DW also differs from the MEDL4DW in its slim metal casing.
