DermaScope Polarizer 200X, Dino Lite MEDL4DM
Description
The Dino-Lite DermaScope dermatoscope is an easy-to-use digital microscope that can capture close-ups of high-quality images and videos of the skin. These images go far beyond the macro lens digital camera that is common for this application. That's why many professionals now use the Dino-Lite DermaScope.
The DermaScope can be placed on the skin, either with a watery or oily lubricant, to observe and capture an image of a nevus or lesion. The magnification achieved with the DermaScope will show the doctor what cannot be seen with the naked eye and will help determine the correct diagnosis. The patient can see the result on the computer screen at the same time.
The Dino-Lite DermaScope is connected and powered through a computer's USB port, so there are no batteries to change or charge. The DermaScope also includes 8 LED lights, which makes an external light source unnecessary and the DermaScope a very versatile instrument.
The Dino-Lite DermaScope Polarizer 200x (MEDL4DM) has a 1.3 megapixel camera and a magnification of 10 to 70x and 200x. In addition, this dermascope model has a built-in and fully adjustable polarization filter to reduce the skin's glare effect.
The Dino-Lite DermaScopes 200x models are special models with much greater magnification, often used for specialized dermatological applications or, for example, skin biopsy analysis. In practice, this model is used for the analysis and interpretation of biopsies and other preparations, in short, more for laboratory research.
