Description

Cutimed Sorbact is a sterile dressing indicated for the treatment of infected or contaminated wounds with moderate to abundant exudate. It captures and removes bacteria and pathogenic fungi from the wound surface and reduces the bacterial load in the area, thus promoting the natural healing process.

It cannot be used in combination with ointments or creams because they negatively affect the antimicrobial action of the dressing.

Indicated for treating:
- Chronic wounds.
- Dehiscent post-surgical wounds.
- Traumatic wounds.
- Wounds after the removal of fistulas or abscesses.
- Fungal skin infections.

Certificates: CE Class IIb sterile medical device.

Features:
- Captures and inactivates microorganisms to prevent possible infections.
- Does not release chemical agents that could affect the healing process.
- Does not develop bacterial resistance.
- Does not contain resins or natural rubbers that could cause allergic reactions.
- Without cytotoxicity.
- Without presence of endotoxins in the wound bed.
- Composition: green acetate fabric, impregnated with a derivative of fatty acids.
