Description
A safety station composed of a shower and an emergency eyewash / facewash, to be installed directly on the floorof industries, workshops or locations where staff are subject to the risk of eye or physical injury due to fire, reactants, petroleum products, radioactive materials, acids ..., to eliminate possible contamination of the body and eyes/face.
Product details:
- The shower head is made of yellow ABS, as is the eyewash / facewash tray.
- The pipes, however, are made of galvanized steel, painted white with green stripes.
- The shower is operated by a rigid triangular pull for better grip and the eyewash is manually side opened, activated by simple pressure.
- Equipped with a second pull to operate the shower, specially designed for wheelchair users.
- The emergency shower is capable of spraying the user's entire body in less than the usual time, thanks to its guaranteed minimum flow of 120L/min, at 1.5-6.5 bars.
- High-performance wash: the perfect distribution of the four spray heads of the eyewash / facewash provides quick relief to the person who has been injured by chemicals or foreign particles.
- Each spray head has a flow control and a filter to remove possible water impurities.
- It has a self-draining system to remove residual water from the system.
- Standard equipped with universal emergency signs for the shower and the eyewash / facewash and an inspection control label.
Components and materials:
- 4 spray heads made of ABS plastic and assembled to chrome-plated brass pipes. Each head has an ABS plastic cap that prevents the entry of dust and foreign particles and opens automatically when the eyewash is activated. They provide a minimum flow of 28L/min.
- 1 yellow ABS tray, resistant.
- 1 ergonomic and easy access eyewash actuating lever, made of chrome-plated brass.
- 1 yellow ABS shower head, which provides a minimum flow of 120L/min, at 2.4-6.5 bars of pressure.
- Ball valves and automatic opening when the pull or the actuating lever is operated. They remain open until they are manually closed by pressing the actuating lever in the opposite direction.
- Galvanized steel pipes with high visibility white and green coating.
Technical specifications:
- Dimensions: 390 x 2.350 x 870 mm.
- Water flow: 28 L/min.
- Shower water flow: 120 L/min.
- Water inlet pressure: 2.4 – 6.5 bars.
- Water inlet: G 1” (DN 25) female thread.
- Water outlet: G 1 ¼” (DN 32) female thread.
- Net weight: 20.5 Kg.
Regulations and certifications:
- ISO 9001/13485 certified.
- Complies with quality policies.
- Manufactured in accordance with ANSI Z358.1-2009, EN15154-1 and EN15154-2:2006 standards.
*The eyewash must have a water flow of 28 liters per minute to function properly and the shower 120L/min. For this reason, it is very important that the dimensions of the water inlet pipe are correctly sized considering this data.
*The eyewash flow and pressure regulator works automatically between 2.4 and 6.5 bars of pressure. If the water inlet pressure exceeds 7 bars, a pressure reducing valve will need to be installed.
*Place the emergency equipment sign next to the station where it can be clearly seen.
