Description
The Cirrus 2 nebulizer has been designed to minimize residual volume and reduce medication loss. The average particle diameter (DMM) produced is 3.1 microns for at least 71% of the nebulized at 8 lpm. At this flow, it takes approximately 8 minutes to deliver 2.5 ml of medication solution.
It is equipped with a fixed 22 mm female connector that allows it to be used with all oxygen masks and various accessories such as T-pieces and nozzles, among many others. Additionally, it features a calibrated 10 ml capacity tray that ensures easy filling and optimal control of the nebulization process. It is developed with a secure closure and drip-free system.
The pediatric mask it incorporates is made from high-quality materials and is completely transparent to show the patient's real skin and lip color. It is designed with a silicone facial flange to better fit the face and reduce pressure on the skin. Additionally, it incorporates a nasal adjustment system in order to minimize the risk of leaks regardless of the patient's morphology. It is also designed with elastic bands that can be placed above or below the ear for greater comfort and a lower risk of friction damage.
