The 148/7 model is the most advanced model among the Zuzi digital microscopes; thanks to its 3 Mp camera and 1/2" sensor, it is especially suitable for use in university and professional level biology.

• Siedentopf binocular head inclined at 30º with adjustment of the interpupillary distance by free mechanism and diopter correction, allowing more comfortable observation over a prolonged period of time.
• Wide-field eyepieces suitable for users with glasses.
• Light blocking lever for the camera, in case image capture is not going to be performed.
• Quadruple revolver inclined inward for more comfortable handling of the preparation.
• Large mechanical stage (180x150 mm) with lowered translation controls for more comfortable handling. Graduated scales on both sides to allow quick location of areas of interest in the preparation.
• Clamp that allows the holding of two preparations at the same time, especially suitable for the observation and comparison of specular or serial sections.
• Coaxial macro and micro focus controls in a lowered position for easier and more comfortable access. Equipped with friction ring and focus upper limit lock lever. The micrometric controls are graduated.
• Köhler type lighting system with graduated field and aperture diaphragms and height-adjustable Abbe condenser for greater control of lighting.
• LED diode illumination source, with a longer lifespan than conventional halogen lamps, providing more even illumination of the sample.
