Description
The Nahita areometer is a laboratory instrument designed to measure the concentrations of solutions in order to determine their density. It consists of a float and a graduated stem with a Baumé scale. On this scale, the value 0 is equivalent to pure water, 1 degree corresponds to 25 grams of sugar dissolved in 1 liter of water, and 15 degrees represent a 10% sodium chloride solution by mass.
