Operation:
It is based on transverse illumination technology.
1. Light rays from a circular LED array penetrate the skin.
2. These act as a light source to achieve deep illumination of subcutaneous tissues.
3. The veins in the illuminated area absorb the light and become more prominent.
4. In this way, it is possible to locate and visualize the venous ducts as dark lines, and perform injections or punctures without leaving a mark on the patient.

Method of use:
1. Clean the patient's skin area with a swab and alcohol.
2. Insert the VeinSpy into the disposable cover and turn it on.
3. Move the VeinSpy from side to side in order to observe the vein and get a clear view of it.
4. After visualizing the vein, carefully move the finder away so that the needle can be easily inserted.
5. Gently press the VeinSpy on the vein, through the open end, and insert the needle into the vein.

Advantages of VeinSpy:
- Improves the selection of the site for needle insertion, thus reducing multiple needle punctures.
- There are no delays caused by difficult venous access in treatment.
- Reduces pain caused by needle insertion in the patient.
- Avoids bruising.
- Increases patient comfort.

Regulations and certifications:
- Certified ISO 9001/13485.
