B960 Thermocycler with innovative technology specifically designed to amplify DNA using the method based on the polymerase chain reaction. The equipment has a heat pump controlled by direct current and composed of thermoelectric Peltier effect modules, a low thermal resistance radiator and a forced ventilation system. This system, being integrated into the same block, allows increasing the efficiency of the process and transferring and extracting the temperature from the block quickly, going from the highest temperature level to the lowest in a minimum of time. High-performance technology: The equipment performs certain thermal cycles according to the method used and repeats them a large number of times over a period of time, at the end of which the strands of an initial DNA fragment have been replicated thousands of times. For better performance of the process, changes between different temperature levels should be with minimal time. With the B960 thermocycler, the cycle temperature can be reached in seconds, even from positions far from the new setpoint. These changes occur while maintaining perfect uniformity between the different points of the block. The system can also be programmed so that a linear temperature gradient occurs across the block, optimizing and locating the points of highest process performance.
