The Salvafix Standard abdominal restraint belt is ideal for fall management and the restraint of agitated or disoriented patients.
It consists of a lower strap that is attached to the bed or stretcher frame at both ends, either before or after the patient is bedded, an adjustable belt, which is placed around the patient's abdomen and a sewn perineal strap, to prevent choking in case the patient could slide down.
In addition, it contains two sewn side restraint straps, which should always be applied and used and serve to control or fix the rotation of the patient, preventing them from turning on their own axis, but allowing relevant postural changes.
Both the belt and the straps are equipped with safety locks.
