Sorbalgon is an adaptable dressing, without active principles, composed of calcium alginate fibers, which forms a non-adherent hydrophilic gel in contact with the sodium salts contained in the blood and in the wound exudate. The gel fills the wound cavity and creates favorable conditions for healing, favoring the passage of bacteria to the gel and keeping them inside the gel.

Applications and indications

For the treatment of external wounds of any kind. It is especially suitable for the treatment of bleeding or exudative wounds, since the gel-forming capacity of the product favors the wound healing process, i.e. venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, abscesses, boils, burns, difficult wounds caused by accidents or after oncological surgery.
