Smoke extractor for electrosurgery

A suction and filtration system for fumes produced during surgical procedures.

The fumes, generated during surgical procedures, have a bad, strong, and persistent odor.

These fumes consist of water vapor, organic gas, visible or invisible solid particles, and viral parts. Thus, good suction and filtration removes bad odors, reduces bacteriological and/or viral risks, and improves the view of the operating area during laparoscopic procedures. The activation of the suction can be:

- AUTOMATIC: through the electronic system at a distance from the automatic survey of the activation of the high-frequency electrosurgery unit.

- MANUAL: through a foot switch (optional) the suction flow can be adjusted to suit specific needs. For laparoscopic procedures there is a specific L function, quickly selectable.

The smoke extractor has electronic suction control with an indication of the wear status of the filters. There are two different types of quickly replaceable ULPA filters, with activated carbons: the blue filter is the first filter and is included with the unit during an initial use time (5 hours), the red filter is an optional replacement part, developed for much longer use (20 hours). They have a 7/8 "connector.
