Simulator for tracheostomy hygiene and care, representing an adult male.

It has oral and nasal passages as well as all the anatomical features of the pharynx, larynx, trachea, esophagus, stoma, cricoid, representative neck vertebrae, left and right bronchus, and bronchial tree. The esophagus ends 5 cm below the tracheal opening.

This simulator is the perfect auxiliary means to practice oral, nasopharyngeal, nasotracheal, and tracheal aspiration measures, to inflate the tube cuff, and to wash the stoma area as well as to change bandages and dressings.
Through a window in the neck, the suction catheter and the artificial breathing tube can be seen. From the bottom of the simulator, the positioning of the suction catheter in the right bronchus (visible) or in the left bronchus (not visible) can be visually controlled.
