This proven quality instrument from Riester is used in fertility diagnosis and hysterosalpingography according to Prof. Dr. Schultze. It allows for an accurate X-ray of the uterine cavity and the Fallopian tubes. It is used as a simple test for their permeability. Hysterosalpingography is used to obtain a contrast X-ray of the cervix, the uterine cavity, and the tubal lumens.
