Butterfly needle for vacuum blood extraction with safety device, pre-assembled on single-use tube holders. Sterile and single-use.

The pre-assembled BD Safety-Lok™ safety butterfly needle is a product specifically designed for blood extraction in difficult veins. It has an integrated safety device aligned with the cannula bevel, which is activated by the user as soon as the needle leaves the patient's vein, preventing accidental punctures.

The needle pre-assembled on the tube holder reduces handling, is practical, easy to use, and saves time in the sample extraction process.

There are different techniques to activate the safety mechanism that, by doing it with one hand, allow the user to perform hemostasis at the same time. The different gauges of the needle allow adaptation to different types of patients, making the puncture very simple, in any case, with minimum pain for the patient.
