Description

The Streptococcus A rapid test is a test to qualitatively detect the presence of streptococcus A antigens in pharyngeal exudate samples, providing results in 5 minutes.
Immediate diagnosis allows for rapid patient treatment.

Technical specifications:
- Relative sensitivity: 95.1% (89.6-98.2%).
- Accuracy: 97.1% (95.3-98.4%).
- Relative specificity: 97.8% (95.8-99%).

Procedure:
- Add 4 drops of reagent 1 to the extraction tube, then add 4 drops of reagent B and mix the solution by gently rotating the tube.
- Insert the swab into the extraction tube and rotate it 15 times. Wait 1 minute and remove the swab while squeezing the tube to remove the liquid.
- Immerse the strip in the sample.
- Read the results after 5 minutes.
