Pressomass Pressure Therapy Device

Pressure therapy device Pressomass for pressomassage and lymphatic drainage with 9 independent sectors. The pressomassage is used for the treatment of lower limbs and body areas that predominantly suffer from circulation problems, such as feet, legs, abdomen, and arms.
Pressomass is a device for peristaltic pressomassage and venous-lymphatic drainage. The massage is produced by a leg garment equipped with overlapping independent sectors like a "fishbone", in this way the pressure impulse overlaps gradually without leaving spaces during the swelling, eliminating the reflux and improving the circulation. This method has been studied to "empty" the limb from bottom to top, respecting the procedure of the venous-lymphatic system.

The Pressomass pressure therapy device allows:

Eliminate swelling in the legs and ankles
Improve the circulation of the upper and lower limbs
Restore proper lymphatic circulation
Reduce and eliminate fluid retention and cellulite

Indicated for:
•Release water retention
•Eliminate toxins from the subcutaneous tissue
•Improve venous-lymphatic drainage

How does the Pressomass pressure therapy device work?

A treatment cycle includes approximately 10/12 sessions, with a frequency of 2/3 times per week.
The pressomassage brings visible results from the first sessions.
The stimulation activated by the pressure therapy device eliminates the excess of interstitial fluids and toxins from the subcutaneous tissue.
During a pressomassage session, the patient puts on the point kit. To obtain the best results, bandages soaked in active principles can be used.
The pressomassage acts through the continuous inflation and deflation of the point kit.
The compression and decompression occur in the body through a progressive pressure from the limbs towards the heart, stimulating the lymphatic and venous flow, helping the body absorb excess fluids under the skin and increasing diuresis.
The particularity of the Pressomass kit is the arrangement of the sectors in a fishbone shape, this configuration avoids leaving spaces during inflation and avoids circulatory reflux.

The importance of "fishbone" leg garments

The leg garment and its structure are of vital importance to achieve optimal pneumatic compression, but above all safe to avoid causing damage. The leg garments of the PRESSOMASS equipment have a structure called "fishbone". For treatments in the venous and lymphatic system, it is of utmost importance to use these leg garments, through which the pressure thrust overlaps without leaving inter-spaces where return flows can be created.
