Description
K-Tape® Cut is an elastic band for kinesiology that is administered in the form of a precut strip to make it easier to apply to specific areas. When placed under tension on the skin, it generates a slight traction that slightly separates the epidermis from the muscle. As a result, localized pain and inflammation disappear as blood flow is promoted and lymphatic vessel drainage is optimized.
The bandage consists of two layers: an outer layer of cotton and Spandex and another of Physiobond®, an acrylic adhesive that, when arranged in waves, allows the skin to breathe properly. It contains no active ingredients or latex derivatives and is completely biocompatible, making it completely suitable for medical use in any type of patient.
The K-Tape® Cut can be used to treat minor muscle and joint ailments in physiotherapy consultations, but thanks to its ability to generate traction it can also be used in orthopedics to correct the posture of pediatric patients. Similarly, it is widely used in the field of obstetrics to provide additional support to the belly during pregnancy.
