Passive light ring for Dino-Lite digital microscopes

The passive light ring is an innovative accessory designed for Dino-Lite digital microscopes models AM4115, AM4515, AM4815, AM7115, AM7515, and AM7915. Its main function is to enhance the visibility of sample details, providing uniform illumination without shadows.

With a diameter of 6.5 cm (2.5 inches), it offers a practical and efficient solution to illuminate the observation area. It uses the built-in LEDs of the Dino-Lite microscopes, redirecting the light to create shadow-free illumination. The design of the passive light ring eliminates the need for mounting an external light ring, thus avoiding additional heat generation and increased device weight.

It is important to mention that the passive light ring works optimally at a working distance of between 2 and 15 cm. It is not suitable for shorter working distances and is not compatible with high magnification models such as the AM4115TF, AM7115MTF, AM73115MTF, AM5216TF and AM5218MZTF.
