Postpartum Hemorrhage Simulator P97 PRO

Postpartum Hemorrhage Simulator P97 PRO specifically designed for realistic practical training in the early detection, systematic evaluation, and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH). This simulator is focused on the following three causes of postpartum hemorrhage: uterine atony (tone), laceration and tears (trauma), and retention of placental tissue (tissue).

Designed to practice the following techniques:
- The P97 PRO adapts to the configured scenario to simulate different degrees of uterine atony. An inflation knob allows adjusting and simulating an atonic uterus or a contracted uterus. The atonic uterus is perceived as soft, mushy, and enlarged, while the contracted uterus has a harder touch and can shrink to a realistic size.
- Practice of bimanual compression and uterine fundus massage.
- Suturing of vaginal tears. The breakable pieces are replaceable.
- 360-degree visual examination of the cervix. The cervix presents the softness and postpartum size realistically.
- Manual extraction of retained placenta. Three residual pieces can be introduced into the uterus to practice relevant medical interventions, such as uterine curettage.
- Tamponade with intrauterine balloon. The size of the uterine cavity allows the placement of a Bakri balloon.
- Uterine tamponade with gauze.
- Presentation of severe cases of obstetric hemorrhage. The blood reservoir holds up to 3 L of volume. The blood flow rate is adjustable up to 400 ml/min.
- Estimation of blood loss. The blood reservoir has a volume scale that helps to learn to estimate blood losses.
- Bladder catheterization. It is possible to insert a urinary catheter. It is not necessary to drain fluids.
- The accessory foam uteruses facilitate the demonstration of uterine compressive suturing techniques, such as B-Lynch, Haymann, Pereira, Cho, and Ouabha.
