Mesolux is a non-invasive transdermal introduction system of actives by electroporation combined with phototherapy.
The transdermal electroporation is a complex technique that comes from molecular biology and genomics laboratories, consisting of introducing actives into the skin through the application of high voltage hairy electric pulses, thus achieving the opening of pores in the lipid bilayer of cell membranes and channels in intercellular spaces. In this way, the introduction of actives is produced by transcellular and intercellular routes, both through the epidermis and by transfollicular and transudoriferous routes. This mechanism has the peculiarity of being reversible and transient so that after a short lapse of time the skin returns to its initial state.
The phototherapy or bio-photonic therapy is a new non-invasive therapeutic alternative that has revolutionized the treatment of different conditions and pathologies. This consists of the conversion of light energy within the spectrum of visible light, into chemical and physical reactions that induce therapeutic changes in the patient. Depending on the wavelength, it will act on some molecules or others in a totally selective way, being able to perform the desired treatment.

With its application, we activate the restoration of the dermal matrix through the metabolic activation of fibroblasts. Additionally, this wavelength regenerates collagen fibers, stimulates microcirculation of blood, and has an anti-inflammatory effect.

•420 nm. Elimination of P. acnes bacteria. At 420 nm. (blue-Uv) the chromophore is the porphyrins generated by the P. acnes (Propionibacterium acnes) bacteria, absorbing this energy and generating oxygen radicals, thus causing the destruction of the bacteria.
