LIFEVAC Anti-choking device with 3 mask sizes
Description
The LIFEVAC Anti-choking device is a revolutionary emergency equipment, very easy to use, designed to act quickly in health emergency situations due to choking. It is a suction device specially developed to clear an obstruction in the patient's airway when the standard protocol (Heimlich maneuver) has been unsuccessfully followed.
If after use the patient does not breathe spontaneously, initiate CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) according to the standard basic life support protocol.
Features:
- It can be used in all types of patients from 18 kg.
- Includes 3 mask sizes.
- Non-invasive as it is not introduced into the patient's body.
- Recommended for patients in whom the Heimlich maneuver is complicated: overweight people, people with mobility problems, the elderly and pregnant women.
Certificates: CE medical product and FDA certification.
How to use:
1. Choose the appropriate mask size and discard the colored plastic ring. Insert the mask into the unit by twisting it while applying pressure. Check that the mask is securely attached to the unit.
2. Place the mask over the nose and mouth, with the mouth slightly open and keeping the chin up. Hold the mask firmly, making sure no air gets inside it.
3. While holding the mask with one hand and keeping the patient's chin up, push down on the handle with the other hand to compress the unit.
4. Once the handle is sunk, pull it up quickly, while continuing to hold the mask.
5. Position the person on their side and remove any debris from the mouth, checking if the unit also has any debris. Repeat this procedure if necessary.
